Advanced Nursing Labs for Practical Training

At the College of Nursing, Mahatma Gandhi College, our state-of-the-art labs are designed to provide B.Sc. Nursing and General Nursing (GNM) students with hands-on experience in real-world healthcare scenarios. Our fully-equipped Fundamentals of Nursing Lab allows students to practice essential nursing skills, from patient assessment to basic care procedures, in a controlled and supervised environment.

In the Anatomy and Physiology Lab, students explore human body structures and functions, gaining foundational knowledge crucial for patient care. The Community Health Nursing Lab prepares students to engage in preventive and community-based healthcare, fostering skills that will be invaluable in both hospital and public health settings.

Additionally, our Maternal and Child Health Lab offers specialized training for maternal and pediatric care, ensuring students are adept at supporting women and children’s health. All labs are equipped with the latest tools and simulators, supervised by experienced faculty to provide a realistic and immersive learning environment. This hands-on training ensures that our students are prepared to confidently enter clinical settings and excel in their nursing careers.

Library

Our College of Nursing Library is a resource-rich environment designed to support B.Sc. Nursing and General Nursing (GNM) students in their academic journey. Equipped with a vast collection of nursing and medical textbooks, research journals, e-books, and reference materials, the library is a hub for comprehensive study and research.

Students can access the latest literature on topics such as anatomy, pharmacology, community health, and advanced nursing practices, ensuring they stay updated with evolving healthcare knowledge. Quiet study zones and group discussion areas are available to cater to different learning styles, promoting both individual focus and collaborative study.
